This is such a brilliant point. I’ve always believed Trump isn’t stupid. He knew where things were heading & he laid the groundwork months in advance, essentially turning the MAGA movement into a ticking time bomb.

Also, I agree with your point on media literacy, but I also find myself wondering how much damage years of Trump calling everything that didn’t praise him “fake news” will have done. Don’t get me wrong, it’s certainly the way to go, but like everything else that can restore some semblance of normalcy in America, it does seem like an uphill battle.
