Could the Indictment Be Trump's Golden Ticket to Winning 2024?

Reports suggest the former president is to be arrested once he appears in court

It’s headline news, sure, but depending on where you get your news from, the headlines either read: “Game over” or “We just won 2024.” There’s an element of truth to both of them but both scenarios contain more uncertainties than certainties. What’s going to happen, after all, is the big question.

Some early reports suggest the former president is going to be arrested when he attends court, although with any immediate jail-time unlikely. On the flip side, the case has been handed to a judge that was appointed by Trump himself. The unnecessary political influence in America’s judiciary aside, this has the potential to become the country’s next political firestorm. If Trump is indeed (later) incarcerated — and I do intend on steering clear of hyperbole here — the situation, at best, is going to be increasingly unstable.

For one, and as far as Republicans are concerned, this is the latest installment in a long political witch hunt; one that’s deliberately been orchestrated to keep Trump from winning power.
