The British press in general certainly has a lot to answer for. With those on Right, it’s obvious why they wouldn’t. As far as the rest are concerned, I feel as if they simply can’t keep up with the relentless failures and authoritarian moves made by Johnson’s government. But surely that isn’t an excuse, right?
Because the stakes are high. Combine the horrible electoral system with the general public not being aware of everything that’s happening and you’re going to end up with the same lot in power again. Perhaps even worse.
