Like you, I too saw this as a time where an introvert could be an introvert without being judged for it.

Few weeks in though, and I started to miss going to university. It was 4 times a week, often for very long hours and gave me the opportunity to take a leisurely 30 minute walk through the city of London on my way back, if I ever felt like it. It had become a part of my routine and was something that I enjoyed.

And I completely agree with the rise in OCD hand washing that you talk about. I feel like the only thing I’m doing when I go out is sanitising my hands and making sure I’m not touching common surfaces, unless I absolutely have to. And that sucks the fun out of going out. You try and tell yourself that there’s a very minute chance that the exact spot you touched had the virus on it, but then the anxiety flares up with, “what if?”

Let’s hope this blows over soon without more loss of life & jobs.
