Just to clarify, when I said the opposition was bad at politics because it was sliding to the Right, it was because that’s not its job. The Right is already in power. Heading in the same direction as an opposition defeats the purpose of having an opposition. It’s obvious in countries which have a two party system, but it’s equally true for multi-party democracies which are dominated by two parties (like Britain).
