John, as the comments show, this was brave of you to write.

No one, Left or Right, wants the butchering of innocent Ukrainian civilians to continue. But Zelensky refuses to sit at the table whilst continuing to bleed the West dry - causing all sorts of inflation, currency devaluations and cost of living crises.

Many have supported Zelensky despite it all (as the comments show) but Russia has been aggravated by the West for a long time in the run-up to the invasion. These are unfortunate geopolitical realities that need to be taken into consideration when trying to stop a war as soon as possible.

Side note: I do think, as time passes, we will learn things are more heinous than they seem. Too much money has been pumped into Ukraine for some to not have been "mismanaged." As we learned with Covid, the truth sometimes takes years to come to the fore, even when the stories being told seem like "undeniable facts" in the moment.
