11 months on, it’s evident Netanyahu has taken the U.S. for a ride. He exploited existing good-will, knowing full well it would be harder for the Americans to condemn Israel’s war crimes rather than continue funding them.

It will be interesting to see how things develop in the court of public opinion, especially as a lot of chatter is now surrounding whether or not Israel implemented the ‘Hannibal Directive’ on Oct 7.

I get what you say about Israel’s best interests, because, frankly, I do not see it recovering. This has proven to be disastrous for Israel. I think the Israelis may end up sacrificing Netanyahu to “save themselves.”
