Firstly, thank you. I appreciate it.

Your point here is very interesting, and I think quite true. The Labour party is often crititised for no longer being a party of the working class. Which opened the door for the Conservatives to swoop in and promise the return of glory.

Re Truss, I don't have high hopes. What we're going to see are more Right-wing economics than under Johnson. She's already been talking about pay cuts for doctors (who don't earn much in the NHS to begin with). Austerity is going to be the name of the game; meaning the conditions which allow for the populist Right to come to power will be both exacerbated and maintained.

Things look grim.
